Ludwig van Beethoven: Ninth Symphony (Unsigned Prints)
Limited-edition artwork made from the soundwaves of the San Francisco Symphony's performance of Ludwig van Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony." Each print has been hand-signed and numbered by artist Tim Wakefield. These have NOT been signed by SF Symphony members.
The San Francisco Symphony is widely considered to be among the most artistically adventurous and innovative arts institutions in the United States, celebrated for its artistic excellence, creative performance concepts, active touring, award-winning recordings, and standard-setting education programs.
Ludwig van Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony is a universal symbol of togetherness and celebration thanks to its choral finale, “Ode to Joy.” With this touchstone work, his last for full orchestra, Beethoven blew open the possibilities of what a symphony could be.
All profits from these prints will support several Bay Area non-profit organizations.
